How do I receive an inactive Missouri real estate license?
Missouri licensees can place their real estate license in an inactive status by completing the Missouri Information and License Change form as follows:
· The Missouri licensee completes sections 1A through 1C.
· The salesperson’s broker completes 2A and returns the original salesperson license with the form.
Note: before an inactive licensee in Missouri can reactivate their real estate license (by returning the license to active status), they must complete the 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice course. MREC Board rules 2250-4.040.
An inactive real estate salesperson license in Missouri is renewed every other year, on or before September 30. MREC Board Rule CSR 2250-4.050 (6).
