According to a Missouri Real Estate Commission directive in 6-2018, a real estate licensee that is requesting a name change on their license must provide one of the following documents before the request is granted:
· A legible copy of the real estate license applicant's driver's license or Social Security card.
· A legible copy of the real estate license applicant's marriage license or divorce decree.
· A legible copy of adoption paperwork.
· A legible copy of the real estate license applicant's court documents evidencing name change.
