As an agent licensed in another state, you must be affiliated with a firm that is licensed to operate in Tennessee with a principal broker who is licensed in Tennessee.
Before scheduling your exam, you will need to send the following documentation to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission:
· Course completion certificates or transcripts of coursework that documents the real estate education requirements for Tennessee
· A license certification from each state where you are or were licensed
· Proof that you have passed a written exam administered by a national testing company if you are asking for a waiver of the national (uniform) portion of the Tennessee state exam. The exam level must correspond to the level of licensure for which you are now applying.
